A happy year with Momondo

My first calendar year as momondo Editor is coming to an end and, believe me, it has been an exciting, wild, tremendous journey. In spring, CNN tested the market for flight search engines and found momondo to be one of the best in the world. Then followed CBS news, ABC news and the Daily Telegraph - all confirming that momondo is a hyper-efficient aggregator, digging out the best prices for its users.

2008 was also the year when we handpicked more than 20 new writers all over the world to deliver insider tips and articles from their cities, making momondo a treasure of inspiration. Thousands of you guys – sometimes 80.000 in a single day - have followed us during this fabulous year.

We thank you all for being so active and faithful. And we wish you a Happy New Year. Hoping, of course, to see you often in 2009.
